This was a natural phenomenon. This is not a lens flare, nor does it contain any post processing. There was a thin layer of cloud with a perfect circle cut out of it, then in the centre, the full moon. The circle was huge, in fact the fisheye lens makes it look small but if you looked up it covered most of your vision, it was the most fantastic thing I had even seen in the sky and if anyone cares to throw some explainations my way I'd be happy.

Looks kinda like a psytrance cover actually, speaking of which, I've got a whole load more of that stuff in :D

It was the brightest moon I'd ever seen. The thin layer of cloud was lit up by the moon so it was like a very dim sky.
