"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

What you see is unfortunately all I have. The originals, were lost, along with all the other shots during my time there between the spinning disks of my hard drive.
However, I know there are several variations of the same shot taken by other photographers on this website alone. Sadly that place has seen more exposure than a 50 year-old woman on the game...so...good news for you

It's a pleasure, Heretic & short circuit are my some of my favourite pieces on DeviantART.
Please don't take it the wrong way, but I think your artwork is beautiful enough without the decorations around the central character (cogs, writing, circles) in Heretic. In comparison to Short Circuit, I think it's flawed and cluttered by it all - it would also make sense to have just the character with faded black edges because you can then use the images as centered wallpapers, like in Short Circuit.
